Was thinking about getting a laser engraver to do small logos, etc. on wood AND metal. I help out a local charity and we were talking about putting their logo on stuff and it got me to thinking.
Anyone have experience with these? They seem to be all over the spectrum of expense, but I just want a basic, easy to use, computer controlled device under $500.
Something that I could plug into a laptop, pull up the image, and get it engraved (etched, burned, whatever you call it) into metal, wood, and plastic. I am not looking to cut metal with it, just etch or engrave.
Suggestions or advice?
