The Federal CastCore uses the same bullet but is a much milder load...only 1080 from a 4" barrel.

Went out this morning and shot the 215V/8.0 Unique load through the Tracker and the FA97...acuuracy was excellent and very mild recoil... If I can figure out how to get the pics from the phone transferred over to Photobucket I'll post them..

Yes, I have the titanium model.

My hands will not let me shoot anything hotter than a 210 at 1000 fps through it. But actually I usually shoot much slower loads.

My loads often consist of 41 Special loads loaded in magnum brass to Special COAL. Never a problem with cylinder length.

I'm sorry that when I took down my website, all my reproduced articles went away, also. I still have the written version of it archived here somewhere but no photos. Not sure now where it originally ran, either.

It would be too long to post here, I think. If anybody is interested, PM me with your email and I'll attach it to a reply.

Edit to add: Found the article with load data table and have it ready to email.

I'd love to have a .41 Titanium Tracker. One of the best revolvers Taurus ever made.

A lineup of 41s with the long & short nose wadcutters for comparison

OALs are L to R

1.456
1.542
1.590
1.655

The Specials are loaded with 7gr of Unique powder. The magnum cases are loaded with 8gr of Unique powder.

The first three will work in the Tracker , the last one is too long.
