Yeah Norm, it was actually missing the firing pin retract spring and this one. I didn't think it would be a big deal to get both, but haven't been able to locate this one. I got the other ok. Any help is appreciated.

I could use a couple 99 EG, 300 S. front sights from the 40's or early 50's. Also a clean sear screw for the same period....without a buggered up slot. To clarify, I have the mating nut that you need a spanner type screwdriver for.

I have a decent 900,000 S/N sear screw for Savage 99 that I could let go. Slightly buggered slot but could be cleaned up.

I also have an ejector spring for a 900,000 on up Savage 99.

I have a front sight...german silver for 303 or 30-30 marked 31m

I have a 99C ejector

I have an 1899 stock bolt with conical head and mating machined washer.

Anyone have a lead on a Savage 99F barrel in .308?

Had one come in with a bent barrel (run over by vehicle). We're going to work on straightening it, just wanting a backup plan.

Thanks,
Shawn

So apparently, this is not a period correct sight for my 99 (SERNO 49863):

Anybody have a picture of one or better yet one for sale or where I might find one?

That looks like a post-1958 folding sight.

The 1899 Rocky Mountain would be correct.

Rick: it does not fold, but thanks for the picture. If you could tell me where to start looking for one, I'd be grateful. jorge

eBay if no one here comes through.

If your sight doesn't fold then it is from the `50's.

Thanks, Rick. So I should look for a 1899 Rocky Mountain rear sight and search that way.

I went there but did not see any specific ones. If you could recommend a link, I'd be grateful

No, that is for a small caliber Marlin. Too short and to low.
