Steve Clevenger, of the Mariners, was suspended for calling Obama and BLM "pathetic". Also said Charlotte protesters should be "locked up like animals". WTF he only spoke the truth, he didn't use any derogatory language, and by-God I bet he stands to respect our flag.

If some one could show the link or post the story. Thank you.

The problem lies with the word "animals". Big hint there fellas.

Had he just said "locked up", they got nothing.

Unfortunately - to quote Ron White,

"He had the right to remain silent - but NOT the ability"

Unfortunate, because the PC bunch has taken over - and get their collective little feelers hurt over the least perceived slight.

PC run amok.
I am a wood stove fanatic and spend a lot of time over on a wood stove forum. Some really smart wood burning gear heads over there.
A month ago I nearly got kicked off.
A gal had posted that she and her husband had bought a house that had a wood stove.
They wanted to start burning. She wanted to know all about how you get firewood, how you cut and store it, which trees made good firewood etc.
Really, a complicated subject.

I thought it interesting that the female had posted and the man said nothing.

I replied to her that I hoped her husband was as interested as she was because care and maintenance of a chain saw, and swinging a maul and splitting wood were more in the province of men's work and would be hard for a woman by herself.

The mod posted to me that I had made a "sexist" remark and I was about to be kicked off!

To say that men are better at working chain saws than women, and that men are better at swinging an 11 pound maul than a woman is a simple matter of fact. It is true.

But we evidently got a lib mod over there and he is going to dump me as a sexist.

Believe me I had a mouthful to say to this fool but I wanted to stay on the forum so I kept my mouth shut.

Freedom of speech went out the window a long time ago.

The dude is right. These protestors are nothing but filth. The behavior of this garbage is the problem, not the cops. How many friggin times does a cop have to tell someone to drop a weapon? The underclass wants a free pass....that's all.

Try telling the IRS you "dont unnerstan" and see how far that [bleep] will get you....

Seems to me "equality before the law" is a rigged game; if using the "community organizers" dice.. .

Part of the contract he signed stipulates he's not allowed to make such comments on "social media".

If he wants to run his mouth on the internet, he shouldn't have signed.

Quote
While the Mariners’ release didn’t cite which provision of baseball’s Basic Agreement Clevenger was suspended under, the Major League Baseball social media policy contains prohibitions on the following:

7. Displaying or transmitting Content that is derogatory or insensitive to individuals based on race, color, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or religion, including, but not limited to, slurs, jokes, stereotypes or other inappropriate remarks.

Hey Snyper - you posted this as the contracted limitation on social media:
"7. Displaying or transmitting Content that is derogatory or insensitive to individuals based on race, color, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or religion, including, but not limited to, slurs, jokes, stereotypes or other inappropriate remarks.".

Which of his comments was a specific violation of that?

Ask those who suspended him if you want the specifics.
I suspect it was mainly for being stupid in public.
