I had one in the '80's and absolutely loved it. Sold it because I just had to have something else (can't remember what) so I'm finally getting around to getting another one. Just picked up a Sterling AR-180. Found one in a LGS for a downright reasonable price and I just couldn't say no. So now I once again have the IRA's "Widowmaker"...gonna be fun. About 6 months ago I came across a 40 round AR-180 magazine at a price I couldn't pass up...now I have a rifle to go along with it.

I wanted the Armalite version that was made 10-20 years ago, but... They were pretty good, but the synthetic lower left me flat. But NDS makes a billet lower replacement with faux spot welds to give it that real AR-180 look. Slap on an ACE folding stock and you really have something! But a decent real 180 can be had for around 1k, so why not just get the real deal?

Yeah I guess I need to learn how to sing that song...but I have to work on my Irish brogue first.
