I think he could have done a lot better last night but he may be waiting to unload on her in the next debates. There was a lot of ground left uncovered.

I also think the Hildabeast kind of buried herself trying to tax us into prosperity.

Nobody ever notices when she she brings up all the talk of rebuilding roads, bridges, and all the other stuff that we will be paying the unions with our money.
The only way to improve is to build stuff, sell it to other markets and bring money into this country.
If her idea will work, I should be trying to pay myself to work for myself.

so we should pretend he did ok? i would rather deal in facts. he needs work on his debate skills and articulation. he only won over those who are already voting for him, of which i am one. but to pretend that he won that debate is to ignore the obvious.

He didn't cause himself any damage and for a non-PC, non-politician that's known to say what he wants I consider that a win. His campaign will dissect what worked and what didn't and they'll utilize that information along with the focus group feedback to prepare for October 4th. He could have done better in theory but in reality came out looking pretty good.

I get a kick out of some of the campfire anal-ysts. A month ago they were crying "why can't he be presidential" or "he needs to watch what he says". Now they're excoriating him for following their advice. There are a lot of closet democrats on here, that's for sure.

Does anyone here like what Hillary had to say? Does anyone here like Hillary? If no to both, then why do presume that a person you don't like saying things you don't like won a debate because she was more polished saying the things you don't like?

That's why the polls are as they are today. No one likes Hillary and she said absolutely nothing of substance, though she said it well. Hillary provided the fewest details and gave the most inane warmed over political mumbo jumbo BS answers I've ever heard from a major candidate.

That's a big part of why this country is in the shape it's in. It seems talk is valued over character or substance.

And we appreciate your vigilance in attacking those who don't talk in the approved manner about approved subjects and approved candidates. It's openness like yours that's led us to where we are today.

The report before the debate was he was preparing--but not like a politician.

He did what he needed to do--not look scary.

He avoided the worn out criticisms of HRC (Benghazi, emails, etc.) and hit her with the bad TPP deal, the bad Iran deal, and the absence of results from all of her time at State.

And your amazing insight that a man who just last night proposed that anonymous bureacrats be trusted to handle secret government lists that would remove 2A rights without due process from civilians is actually the only pro-2A candidate we've had. Those bureacrats are exactly who we need to solve this problem of these hundreds of terrorists on watchlists buying guns; these bureaucrats being exactly like the ones who gave us:
* Fast & Furious and probably thousands of dead civilians
* dead American vets waiting for VA appts that would never happen because no bonuses would be given if there were waitlists
* secret tracking of Americans by tracking cell phone location and maintaining national database of who you've ever talked to
* IRS interference with Republican voting groups
* clean bill for Hillary and all aides in mishandling classified info as well as giving half a dozen of them permanent immunity to prosecution despite there being no crimes
* etc, etc, etc.

See, now I wouldn't have considered somebody proposing removing 2A rights from Americans without due process as being pro-2A.
