ALG Defense ACT Advanced Combat Trigger Group

Lots of good reviews

Anyone here using one?

PSA has them, too with only one pull weight.

I watched this video; he explains ALG towards the end. I tend to believe they must be good since in all reality they are Geiselle

i watched that video. ALG is a company owned by his wife. they take mil-spec triggers and polish, and coat them. they do NOT change the geometry. he said that you can't modify them too much and retain reliability and safety. he stresses that they are a cost saving trigger

interesting video.

For the cost I'm not sure they can be beat. Have them in a few of my rifles and am very happy with them

David, I think this is the link you are thinking of

ALG ACT

It's $65 vs the $45 you linked

I've installed around half a dozen. Like all non-cassette type triggers that are non-adjustable, the individual lower receiver dimensions can have a bearing on the results attained. I have noticed that installing a somewhat disappointing trigger into a different receiver can give a better result... sometimes. In one instance with units installed in two separate receivers I noticed that one sample was better than the other. Swapping both units resulted in both being acceptable and indistinguishable from the other. confused

Just got off the phone with ALG. Damn. Thought I was onto something. They do not make a large pin version. So far, have only found Geissele SSA and SSA-E in large pin config at $260 and $280 a pop.

And yes, sales rep confirmed Geissele owner's wife owns ALG.

I had one of the ACT and one of the QMS. It's a sample size of 1 each, but I liked the QMS much better. Pull was lighter and felt more crisp.
