Jimmie is harmless. But the guys that take that AR away from him will not be. Watch all the gun control laws get passed when that gun gets used in a mass shooting.

Only a nut would open carry in a city.

Guess what, some people that own guns are irresponsible idiots.

There is a huge difference between carrying a weapon to protect yourself and your loved ones and going about your business vs. brandishing a weapon to say look at me. That there are some here that can't make the distinction surprises me not.

So are we all assuming this is a credible piece of "journalism"? I thought the scary guy with a gun was buying "Thunder Cola", but in the picture he's drinking a coke.

Some people quote the First Amendment, but are irresponsible idiots. Some aren't idiots, but have a more nefarious purpose.

You think WaPo made this guy up? How about his YouTube videos and Facebook page.

Don't know if they made it up. I DO know that there's "scarier" individuals that have actually demonstrated the propensity to inflict harm, but the WaPo hesitates to speak their names, because it doesn't fit a particular agenda.

What we need to see is a skank wearing a "Hilary supports abortion" T shirt to offset the blatant stupidity of these kind of people. Even if you could find a dumb broad like that, it would never make the news.

Gotta' agree.

Chronic Heart disease, has to ride a scooter to get around....but

* Smokes Cigarettes
* Eats a high fat diet ( Salami and Cheesecake)
* Self inflicts stresses by CHOICE

Yeah, sure, this idiot really CARES about his "well being"

He's not "well" and he's no exemplar of nuttin' but ego and angst.

Damn fools like this do us a lot of harm with the uninformed public. I myself would look upon this guy waving his AR around in Walmart with considerable trepidation.

The fact that you CAN do something doesn't always mean you SHOULD do something.

Cross brings up something I wondered about when I was talking about agendas: Would the same type of journalist that wants me to believe an inanimate object is good or bad also want me to believe my personal wealth should go to health insurance for everyone? Even someone with an unhealthy lifestyle? Does this guy get disability? Who pays for that? What journalists are asking those questions?

I don't know if the guy was actually "brandishing" or "waving" his gun around, but he seems like a sad enough tub of DNA that he's inviting suicide by cop or armed citizen.

I saw a guy pull into a gas station/convenience store on a four wheeler with a scoped rifle across the handlebars in a small town in Wayne County Pa. the other day. He casually got off, filled his tank and went in to pay, leaving the four wheeler and rifle unattended at the gas pump. Nobody paid it any attention. Too bad it ain't like that everywhere.

Well, as long as Terrence McCoy is writing about solutions to social problems, everything will be okay. (Maybe.) ((Probably not.))

If Jim Cooley was on the fire, he'd start threads such as...

"Let me have it. I drive a Walmart Fat Scooter."

"Dynasty Baby - Book it!"

"Awesome Avalanche For Sale!"

"US Military Sniper Rifles"

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!
