"The Church can and should help modern society by tirelessly insisting that the work of women in the home be recognized and respected by all in its irreplaceable value." Apostolic Exhortation On The Family, Pope John Paul II
If you were around during the Vietnam War you will remember this photo
Saigon chief of police solving a VC problem during Tet. I was inserted into the area west of Dak To near the border of Laos to call in strikes against the NVA the day following this event. They were retreating by the thousands. Tet was only a victory for the commies because of the U.S. media. We killed them wholesale and their own historians admit it was a mistake to underestimate the Americans.

Saigon Police Chief executing a Communist Gook, made headline news
That was during the Tet Offensive. I remember it very well. Made gigantic headlines all over the world and the far left pap dispensers and propaganda meisters on our national teevee, like the admitted socialist Walter Cronkite, played it over and over and over and over.
The thing the far left people like Cronkite, Brinkley, Huntley, et al, refused to say was that the communist being shot had just been captured after having murdered a number of women and children that day of Tet.
Standard lies-through-omission by the far left U.S. media. Not much has changed today, other than the names of the pap dispensers and propaganda meisters.

IIRC it was the Police Chief's family that had been murdered. Thousands of innocent civilians were brutally massacred by VC and NVA forces during that offensive. Strange you never see that mentioned .

That is the way I remember it as well Sir.

"All that the South has ever desired was that the Union, as established by our forefathers, should be preserved, and that the government, as originally organized, should be administered in purity and truth." – Robert E. Lee
But the anti-war media always have claimed it was a turning point in public opinion that went their way. Of course they wouldn't have shown it if the roles were reversed.

Why anyone sees a point, in posting this stuff is beyond me, and then to post a false title to get people to open it really makes me suspect your goals.

It is called History and the Gook deserved what he got.
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.
Turning point - due to anti American propaganda. And now we are in the fight of our lives against the offspring of that propaganda machine. A whole generation or two of Americans raised to hate the best parts of themselves and their country.
That picture summed up how nasty real life is and what it takes to fight a determined enemy.
Thank you for all you gave, sacrificed, and lost, never to get back, you Vietnam Vets.
