Anyone have a problem with a pin backing out of the receiver under the shell carrier?

Put ~75 shells through my son's new V3 and the shell carrier locks up due to pin coming out. Was able to get it back in...sort of. Any others with this issue? Is there a good fix?

I thought I had read in a review this has happened but I don't see any info to that effect now.

Reinserted pin which is to keep another pin in place.

There needs to be a screw and not a pin. More shells will tell if the problem is solved.

Update:

The problem did not reoccur after 2 days of duck hunting in November.

The V3 will be a new standard for Remington. My son was highly successful with it on his first duck hunt. They finally released the V3 with walnut also.

Glad you solved the problem. I was going to say if the problem persists try some blue Locktite on the pin.
I have been thinking about getting a V-3 myself.
