A S.S. 10x42....works every time, from 200 to 1K, and back to 200. I have several. Super glass IMHO.

Toss up between the 3-12 Bushnell LRHS and 3-9 SWFA SS. The features are better on the LRHS but the reticle in the SS is a little more visible at last light and it weighs 7 oz less. The really important stuff, zero retention, return to zero, and tracking, are excellent on both. I keep the LRHS on my "heavy" gun and the SS on my lightweight.

Have that Leupold 4.5-14x40 sitting here now dude. The one my bud bought off your bud. Gonna mount it in some Mark 4s with EGW 20 moa.
Rifle is a new 5R. Trigger blows. Have a new Timney 510 (?) I am dropping in for him and then will come Accraglass Gel.
I like the barreled action once the trigger swap is done. But hate the scope, the EGW base, and the stock with $hitty palm swell. Will talk him into an A3 eventually. He just doesn't know it yet.
Thinking an SWFA scope eventually also.....

Currently, I have a Bushnell LRHS 3-12x44mm and an HDMR 3.5-21x50mm on my LR guns. I have used them for the past few years and find absolutely no faults with them.

Got to play around with a mounted ATACR at a gun shop a little while back. Very nice! It was on a custom 28 Nosler no less. Optically and in turret feel, it was a tangible step up from my NXS. Even the zero stop had a more definite feel.
Edit: looked at the specs for the 4-16 ATACR. I have a new dream scope for my upcoming 6.5 SAUM build! Didn't realize it was SFP, which is a good thing for my purposes. My previous dream scope was the 3.5-15 NXS... and my fallback is the 3-12x44 LRHS. We'll just see how winter 2017 plays out... self-employment is unpredictable... but now I have a new "ceiling"!

I've killed stuff out to 1340 yards with a 4.5-30 6500 Elite. OPtically, they are not as good as some of the $1500-$2500 glass but they are pretty reliable.

presently, my 300wsm has a Leupold VX-3 3-10x50, but I just purchases a VX-6 4-18x50 Firedot that was on sale that will go on it.
My VX-3 has 650 yds on the CDS dial. Hoping the VX-6 will get me to 800+ on the CDS.
I'm not really a long range shooter, but after shooting at 600 at target I felt comfortable enough that I would have shot at an elk at that range (only if necessary). My shot came at 180 yds. No need for the dial.

2 x Weaver Tactical, 4-20x50, mil-mil. 1 x Weaver Tactical, 3-12x50, mil-mil. Reasonably good glass and I like the pop-up locking turrets that stay put in a saddle scabbard or an Eberlestock pack.
1 x Bushhell, 4200, 6-24x50, mil-mil, 1 x Bushnell, 4200, 3-12x50, mil-mil, but those rifles get used infrequently.

I put a SHV F1 mil/mil on my STW and have been very happy with it so far. The glass is really good for a scope in this price range and it tracks like a champ

Lots of Leupold's!
Mostly versions of the VX-3 & 3i's in 4.5-14x40, but a few 3.5-10's as well.
A couple VX-3-18's as well, but my dedicated long range 300 Win has a 6.5-20x50 MK-4 ER/T with a TMR reticle. It's one of my favorite scopes...

I don't know if I'd call it a "long range rig", its geared more as a "medium range" rifle. But my 280 Ack has a Leupold VX6 2x12 42mm With the bullets I'm using, I get to about 825 yards +/- with one revolution of the dial (20 MOA).
That's plenty far (for me) for targets, I'd probably limit myself to 600 yards for hunting.

All handguns that have optics wear Burris Fast Fire's.

Bushy 3-12 lrhs has s done great things for me. I also like the SS 3-9x42 mq and the SS 10x. Some wear the weaver 3-10x40 mil/mil from midway which does well for a cheaper little bit lighter option.

I have seven Leupold scopes (various variable powers) on my rifles. I have four Leupold scopes on my handguns. I guess you could say that I'm sold on Leupold scopes.
I also have a pair actually two pair of Leupold (old style) Gold ring binocular's. They are way better than the crap they sell today. All of my hunting buddies want to use my binoculars.
If you reload, there's no such thing as an obsolete cartridge.
