Dumb Question.. Did you have slippage on that setup to have to use 3 ringsets?

Dumb Question.. Did you have slippage on that setup to have to use 3 ringsets? No slippage whatsoever! Plain and simple, the 3 rings just made for a rock solid mounting system. The action was drilled/tapped for the larger 8-40 screws and the base was machined, so that once the rings were installed and the scope was mounted, sight-in at 300 yards with the scope optically centered, windage was off less than 3" at that distance.

Conrad101st - Those rings are Vortex.
375fan - That is a SilencerCo Omega. Thank you! Barrel length is 28" and the contour is a straight taper to .750 at the muzzle.
Hammerdown - Thank you. This rifle is going on a prairie dog shoot in a couple of weeks and then to Africa at the end of this year or the first of next year.
Oldelkhunter - You're welcome.
