You bet they do. Phil is a duck hunting machine.

IMO - Duck Dynasty is about the family, not the hunting.

Duck Commander is about the hunting - if I want to watch the Robertson's shoot ducks - I get the Duck Commander DVD.

Duck Dynasty gear supports the network, Duck Commander is separate and goes just to the family. I tend to rather support the family if possible so no Dynasty products.

Dynasty is good TV (ish - it can be funny) but it's not a hunting show.

Best line I remember was one of the wives came in looking for decoys and asked someone why the dekes were all up on the roof?

Response was "There was some discussion about how often satellite imagery gets updated"

Don't know why but always made me crack up - probably the delivery....

I believe the Robertson's first successful products were DVDs of their duck hunts.
I'm thinking I started first hearing about those 20 years ago or so.

I used to work at a sporting goods store in 2000 and we watched the duck commander show on loop. Pretty awesome.

Yeah - I was a Commander guy long before they had the show.

Duckmen 3 I think is where I first saw them.

I still have a stack of VHS tapes from the 90's.
Those guys were hunting machines. I have a series where they started in Saskatchewan and followed the migration all the way home to Louisiana. Three months of spanking ducks.

I don't know what Duckman tape it was....but Johnny Godwin and Phil made it rain ducks...absolutely an amazing display...calling and hunting machines.

I wish they had more of that - any of it really, on the commercials.

Family is very important thing, but I have yet to turn it to that show and see them duck hunt.

Guess I'm watching the wrong duck show.

The Robertson boys were on the Sportsmans Channel for years before DD. They hunt every day of the season...at least they used to. They also travel to other states to hunt. Phil monkeys with his blinds all year long. I think he has 400+ acres that gets flooded every year.

duck dynasty has succeeded at one thing...ruining duck hunting.
