For those that have one, or shot one, are they all that they're cracked up to be? My LGS has one in 6.5 Creedmoor and I might get it. I know that they are kinda hard to find. I just don't want to jump on it if they don't perform.

Mine does. $1250 for the gun $550 fora a scope and was ringing the thousand yard gong the first trip to the range. Good thing it was still out or might not have ended so well. I suck at windage.

Good to hear! What kind of bullets does yours like? I've heard that the A Max is the ticket.

Personally I can't see paying the price for what essentially is a RAR in a AR chassis.

You'd pay about the same to put a RAR in a chassis.

If they shoot well, why not?

I played around with a Precision in .243 earlier this year, and it was VERY accurate--noticeably more so than my All-Weather American .243, which is pretty accurate itself.

And still not have the ability to use P-mags or m-14 mags...

I wouldn't do it. I mean look at the results.

I really like mine. It may not be the Cadillac of tactical rifles, but it's quite the package IMO.

This is all good to hear. Hopefully, I can close the deal on this in the morning.

I have that exact rifle and it has shot just about everything well. I handload, even though Hornady puts out great ammo. I have two loads one in the 139 Scenar and one in the 140 gr Nosler CC and they both will keep 10 shots under an inch, sometimes well under. For the money you cannot beat it.

Enough already, just shoot it!

Well, I picked up the rifle this morning, along with 2 boxes of Hornady Whitetail Hunter with the 129 grain Interlock. I topped the Ruger with a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10 and took it to my backyard range. The first 5 shots fell into a 3/4 inch group at 125 yards(one inch low and left)! Made the adjustments, and put five more right where they need to be(2 in high, dead center)! Was out for an hour or so and let the bbl cool between shots. This might quickly become a favorite. Pretty quiet too, with a suppressor. Can't wait for a hog to show up!

I'm going to try some 140's as well. Can't find brass, so I'll be trying a few more factory loads for deer and hogs.
