Picked this up here a few months ago. Win m70 classic stainless all terrain with featherweight contour barrel 22". I sighted it in with 180 nosler bts and it shot great. Bolt face came with some pitting see pics. Scope, sling, rings not included. $825 shipped to your ffl PayPal or usps money order. First I'll take it posted here. Evidently someone has tried to turn that 06 into a .300WM to pop that many primers!

Or, they were Winchester LR that leaked and eroded the bolt face.
If so, I think that Winchester will pay for the repair to the firearm.

Thats exactly what i meant by "popped" primers aka leaks that eroded the bolt face. It is generally caused by high pressures and i seriously doubt winchester would be interested in a "warranty" claim! Still an awsome rifle and the bolt face could be cleaned up without issue.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Willicd76,
You need to read up on the problems of the bad Winchester primers cracking in standard and even mild pressure loads. That is why Winchester is taking back so many lots of primers and giving replacements or refunds.
I bet that is exactly what happened with this rifle, and Winchester probably will take care of it, for that exact reason.
