I will henceforth NOT open their threads, as if anyone ever got any worthwhile info or discussion from any of them anyway.
Who would they argue with if not for us? The answer is, only liars and decievers like themselves- IOWs, worthless posers.
Why dont we freeze the warts off? Who wont? Who wants to look at their turds?
Well, are they actually "Trolls" or folks you simply don't agree with? There can be a difference.

There are lots of people here folks don't agree with but they just hold a different opinion, they will partake in decent discussions (generally) without getting bent out of shape.
But among the group being described and others not specifically named here it seems to me we have three different categories of folks.
1. Paid agents - from what I can see we definitely have one or more of those, posting here only to sow dissension. They are propagandists repeating lies over and over, their sole purpose is to weaken resolve - "the Statue of Liberty is kaput! The Statue of Liberty is kaput!". They're like phone solicitors, they don't really believe their own message but get paid to pass it along anyway.
Arguing with them is a waste of time since they're only passing along what they're told to.
2. Classic trolls - these are the ones who think it's the funniest thing in the world to post "shocking" stuff, they live to tweak other peoples noses. Their psychological motivation ranges all over the board, from the classic snot nosed kid (juvenile minds that could be 14 to 40 years old) in his mother's basement to those desperate for attention.
Arguing with them is a waste of time. They are the ones that the saying "don't feed the trolls" is aimed at. The nose tweakers like it when people react angrily, that's the reaction they're hoping for. The attention seekers love to be abused, they go to hookers to get pissed on for sexual pleasure so cussing them only makes them moan in pleasure.
3. Defeatists - "normal" people who quit in the 4th quarter because the other team is 10 points ahead. They are the losers in life anyway.
Arguing with them is a waste of time, they have already defeated themselves.

I will agree to having responded to some of their posts on others threads to support the position of the non-brain dead against paid dnc trolls and probably will continue to do so at times to demonstrate the stupidity of their positions. As nwa recently commented, his thread " must have hit a nerve" which apparently had the quueer positively orgasmic, that being probably the only possibility of him getting off other than by his own manipulative devices.
As Rush explained in depth recently throwing barbs is in the playbook of the socialists as being an effective psychological tool to wear down the opposition and make people give up on fighting their agenda.
So, their methods which seem childish are not nearly so benign or innocent vocalizations of stupidity, like a pack of jack russels harassing a german shepherd.
That is the reason they should not be tolerated on any civil forum.

In general, it is liberals who try to silence views who disagree with them. The basic rule is if a conservative doesn't like something, he doesn't do it, but a liberal tries to ban it for all.

Faaguartx, Spouting-specialist, and Lax Velocity are prime examples of what is wrong with the 'fire. On the other hand, Fieldgrade, though I don't know him from Adam's housecat, is a good example of what it can and should be. I don't know if it's just the election cycle or more to it but the average IQ of this place has dropped exponentially with the arrival of the aforementioned dumb-azzes.

To answer your question, none of the above.
If you will read the post more carefully you will not find anything that says people should not read the posts or even try to silence those making them, nor did I make any statement that they should not be posting here. On the contrary, I said that in all three cases it is just a waste of time arguing with them, which would imply not opposing them in any way, just letting them sit unanswered. If no new posts are made the thread will simply disappear off of the first few pages.
