This big old cat has been hanging around for a bit. Momma has chased him off twice from stalking her little yorkie cross pup, which was outside to do her business.

I baited the cat this morning with a bit of smoked turkey carcass. And he made the mistake of standing still when I opened the back door of the house.

4 5/8 single seven with fire sights and the 85 gr XTP loaded to H&R specs in 327 brass did the job.

I might guess the bullet would be a bit frangible for SD use, but it certainly makes for effective pest control at 10 yds.

Haha, a cats hide has a lot of "stretch" to them.😚

This one had dense fur about two inches long. Grey with a yellow cast. It would have made nice trim around the hood of a parka.

But there is not enough Chinese in me to start harvesting cat fur.
