I hope this isn't a repost:

And when you boys think the entire State of Oregon is all liberal and democRATs....

This is the Potland Crowd....

They're all pissed off about, the Police Dept getting a raise in pay.....

And these are the clowns that outnumber us in Population by a few percentage points....so their insanity is what runs the entire state with the stupid ass laws that they come out with....

and looking at the crowd, how many of them even look like they have a job? or a legal income?

Living off the government, to where they have the time to do this sort of crap....

personally I am disappointed that there are not a bunch of them laying on the sidewalk with a busted head...

the militant blacks of BLM are as bad as the Klan at their height of violence...and the white hippie left overs that hang with them.... are just a bunch of lazy-assed bums who probably haven't worked a day in their lives... living off of welfare since mommy and daddy kicked them out of the house back in the 60s....

the one cop that was pushing them out the door and on their asses... I'd like to know who he is, by sending him a letter of appreciation and a gift certificate for he and his wife to go out to a very nice dinner....

Isn't it interesting that politics at the state level is decided by popular vote, while national elections are decided by the electoral college?

Is the electoral college the power hungry federal politicians way of ensuring control at the federal level? If not, why have the electoral college for national elections and popular vote for state?

Because without the EC, we wouldn't have a constitution or a nation as we know it. The small states were afraid of being overrun by the large ones and they wouldn't sign on to the constitution as it originally was. The EC is a compromise to give the small states a bit of an advantage in voting. A conservative who wants to dump the EC is a fool because small states tend to be more conservative and they get that tiny advantage at the polls.

Sounds like we need an EC at the state level then since the left has taken over our statewide elections.

So each state gets ONE vote for whoever their people elect as top runner... that way, the little states don't get run over...

but then the big populated states will be bitching that they can't outweigh the small states...

But something equitable sure wouldn't favor the DemocRATS...

Oregon needs to let Multnomah County secede from the rest of the state, or just give it to Washington for free....
