I guess I'll be the odd serious one here, could the studs be swapped out with right hand threads? A couple of us have mentioned it. I assume that the wheel has a brake drum and the studs are mounted to it. If so, just get a hammer and knock out the existing studs. Seat new RH ones from the inside of the drum using the hammer. It takes about 1 minute per stud. I did see a car one time years ago where they just replaced 1 broken LH stud on the wheel with a RH one. You had to guess which one it was. Stupid!

The other odd thing is it is a 14" wheel with 6 lugs. Not unheard of, but not common either.
This trailer has made a round trip on the Alcan without a hitch. I want to make everything right on it this winter. If I can easily find the ONE LH metric nut...great. It's not a deal breaker on using the trailer.
How did you hook it to the pickup?  I see what you did there! Good one!

It takes about 1 minute per stud. Hopefully I can borrow a hammer from my neighbor.  Like I posted above though, I have 5 of 6 on the wheel and it's not going to come off with out help. I may swap them when I decide what to do with it this winter when I can get it into my garage. Tentative plans are to take the bed off and build a flat bed. Remove the gas tank. New shocks. Longer tongue. Heck, I might just repaint the rusty wheels!

You could just use a regular, non-tapered nut on that stud. You don't need the centering as the other nuts will handle that. Regular metric LH nuts aren't that hard to find.

EdM's SFX link has the lug nuts on back order and have been on back order for weeks. OK. Not going with this. lol.... Cain't find such a nut here in BFE. The price we pay I reckon. the good news is a friend's son in Fbx is a mechanic and found the lugs needed at NAPA there through a non-line source. I have two coming. This has been a fun mystery!

I'm trying to find a left hand metric lug nut. I need 12 mm x 1.5.
Tried local tire dealer and our three auto parts stores. I've Googled my fingers raw and no luck.
Any sources?
I might have some out in the box. At least I believe I have some. I'll look. If I have some you can have them free.
