OP BobinNH Campfire 'Bwana B Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 35,900	Turnover is done and big bass have moved into wintering areas, or close to them. This past weekend, friends in a Maine tournament with 27+ pounds for five fish,capped by a lunker of 7.47 pounds. Not a bad bag at all for northern waters. I need to get out.... The fellow on the right is an old bass fishing pal of mine. I don't blame them for being happy,as a tournament stringer up here averaging 5 pounds plus is a very special day. I don't think they can survive our water temperatures. But we do have some good fish! I won a tournament on that same lake with 26 pounds for 5 fish, year before last. That was in August.
