I found it on a deer hunt in extreme Southern New Mexico. Turns out it's an Atlatl Dart Point that is possibly 3000 years old.
"Hi, Rick--well, I'm not familiar with Guadalupe points as a type, but I would classify this point as a late preceramic corner-notched dart point. Based on what remains of it, it closely resembles San Pedro and En Medio points, both of which are ca. 3000-1800 years old. Unfortunately, the break removed most of the base between the notches, which makes it harder to classify as a particular type.
