I'm getting Cabin Fever : Being a Wood Nut , I would appreciate seeing some Pictures of Custom Stocks made from unusual Woods . Has anyone ever used Screwbean Mesquite , Goncalo Alves , Rosewood , or some of the Woods I've seen on Custom Knives ? I know that some of these Woods are difficult to obtain in full Gunstock sizes . If possible , please describe the pit-falls of working with some of these Woods and Stock Finish limitations . It would be great to also see any info. on possible Suppliers and approximate Stock Blank costs . TIA.
