OP hotsoup Campfire Outfitter H Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 7,500 Lived all over the world	I have a SC built model 70 ew in 308 win. Superb rifle, shoots extremely well, functions great too. I want to put the stainless barrelled action in a wood stock, such as the standard factory model 70 Sporter. Bottom metal is one piece. Once I find a new or like-new sporter stock, will this be a "drop in"? Thanks

McCray Campfire Regular M Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 901	Should drop in, but you'll want to bed it. Midwest Gun Works usually has a selection of factory stocks. But not cheap! Winchester rifles and Swarovski scopes.
