I've been trying to obtain a certain model of Sig P238 for some time. Dang thing's been on backorder for two months.. Well, yesterday I finally decided to order the P290RS. It's on the way..

About an hour ago, an email comes in that sez the P-238 model I wanted is available and I have 24 hours to say yea/nay...

Grrr. Probably get it anyway. I will then sell the Kimber Raptor Micro 380 I got two months ago and keep the Sig..

Anybody want a barely (like, 50-60 rounds) used Kimber Raptor Micro .380 in SS along with extra ext. magazine? laugh

I don't understand ANY demand for the P238. The 9 is just a better caliber and the P238 is not much smaller than the P938. I guess if you had a big stock of 380.

I do. A quality 380 that's actually shootable is lots of fun!

I've owned both a 238 and 938; I still have the 238. What SAS said is exactly right. In addition, the 238 actually fits (for me) the pocket gun envelope. The 938 was almost there, but not quite. Of course, if I wore bib overalls or fat boy pants, my choice might be different.

Lee, I must have missed it; but why do you like the SIG versus the Kimber?

Second ditto. It's little, but can shoot the 238 pretty well. So next, got the 938 - "it's only a little bigger," right? I wanted to like the 938, size is perfect for carry, but felt like a rather different gun, just couldn't shoot it as well. Bottom line, hit with 380 trumps miss with 9mm, so still have the 238.

Hope you enjoy yours Redneck. Ps the aftermarket 238 steel triggers by "parts production" online, certainly worth it IMO.

I will be in need of an EDC, and you had my interest....right until i saw the price tag on those guns.@$850.00. Holy bat-crap batman! I could have a .44 mare's leg for that, and fire rifle ammo. (Think i will keep looking, thanks anyways.
Edit: sorry, didn't come out right. ( this site is ungodly slow) put more accurately, I will have to settle for something less expensive than what I would like to have.

An unemployed Jester, is nobody's Fool.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.
