A Moultrie, GA 10-point taken during the rut with my M70 Stainless Classic 30-06 and 165 gr Accubond handloads. This pig weighed 267 pounds!

Thanks. It's a McMillan Winchester Hunter with molded-in GAP camo.

Spent an incredible week in Mexico prior to Thanksgiving.... Enjoyed the hunt with some really incredible riflemen and outdoorsmen. The experience, along with stories of past hunting trips, hunting partners, fine rifles, and great bullets made for a memorable trip. Ironically... we all hunted old Model 70's.

Op- had that same M70 syn carbine 7/08 and neck shot a Mule Deer about 110 yds in CO years back w a 139 handloaded at 2850 via Varget. It was a handy fast hand handling killer! Dropped a deer on the run about the same distance in timber in La - and used a similarly FWT deluxe in 7/08 on other kills. Those carbines balanced better than M7's IMHO.

That is a nice piece of wood. Is the 2nd rack down 36" wide, or just very close?

A bit late. Some of you might recognize the rifle.
