Is that a 6mm Rem AI, or one of the other 6's? I had one in a 28" Benchmark barrel for a while, really liked that cartridge, and will probably have to do another someday with more twist than the 1:10 that mine had. What twist are you using, and what kind of loads, if you don't mind me asking?

Mines a 660 rem, 1-8 hart factory dupe at 22" I'm runnin 56 grains superformance and 80 gr bts. Ya it's 6 mm Rem ai

I shot that antelope buck at sun up opening morning. I filled my antelope doe tag before lunch. The other two guys in the other vehicle got their 4 antelope right away too.

But the guy in my vehicle started passing up buck after buck, wanting a bigger one.

He wanted the buck that had a herd of ~ 30 does. Some of those does would not let us within 1000 yards. He was shooting his Mosin Nagant that he bought for $7 in the 60s. He can only shoot to 400 yards.

So after two days of boring hunting [hunting is boring after you fill you tags] he had me walk around a corner to use my odor to chase the herd to him. That worked.

All the work to get a buck with an inch longer antlers.

Still gotta vote for the 6.5x47 Lapua - obviously the most efficient cartridge going and it has great long range credentials.
