I'd like to apply this year for the sheep, goat, and BB draw. Which outfitter do you recommend that I assign myself with? Please feel free to PM me.
Looking for trophy sheep units and if worthwhile, applying for a great BB area. Thanks!

Because of all the rule changes this year you have a really good bunch of questions! No one can give you a good answer and everything at this point has to come from your gut.
Start with the obvious, easy choices... Brown bear with Phil is the obvious right answer if he has room for you... follow his advice to the letter.
Goat is the next in line... There are a ton of options in type of hunt and location... many are virtually OTC. How much do you want to spread out your hunts? What kind of hunt really blows up your dress?
Sheep is a really curious question I have been talking about for weeks with a number of guides and none have any good idea of what is about to happen...
In a nutshell: this year you may apply for 6 hunts. Previously we could apply for three DIFFERENT hunts. Now you may apply for 6 hunts... all can be the same!
There is a special tag that allows one to hunt several areas that were only opened a few years back to allow the Governor's tag to hunt some pretty fancy country... I will leave it to you to figure the actual number. (Hint:there is only one tag given out.)
Again, the first question has to be WHAT do you want to hunt, HOW do you want to hunt, and WHERE do you want to hunt?
Happy to discuss minutiae and have been for quite a while... shoot a PM if you are really serious and curious. EVERYTHING changed this year...

UBB Message Sitka deer is over their Private Topic limit. Hi Sitka, I tried to contact you via PM but your box is full. Please PM me your ph#; I'd like to learn from your insight into the new applications for Alaska. Thanks! CL
