That would make every lefty an immediate 870 owner.

While we are all wishing, I'd love to see a LH short in 17FB or 221FB again like Remington did a while back. That, and Id love to see CZ chamber a LH 17Hornet and or 17FB.

They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Me to, anything left handed and in a 17 center fire.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I would like to see a LH 870 Wingmaster in 28 GA built on a 28 GA sized receiver with blue finish and not the matte they use today Purpaugh made 28 gauge shotguns from 20 gauges primarily using 20 gauge Remingtons. I worked with a women whose Dad worked and shot skeet for Remington in Conn. He had three 28 gauge auto's built from 20 gauge Remingtons. When her Dad passed her sister in Conn sold all his shotguns to a gun shop in Bridgeport. So making 28 gauges from 20 gauges has been done. Doc

Yep, there's lots of stuff I'd buy that will never be made. I'm kinda moving on from LH to wondering why everything isn't ambidextrous.

Does almost no good to dream anymore....I've been so frustrated over the years....and now at 45yo...some of my desires have changed. I'm on the same bandwagon wishing any Kimber would be offered in LH and that jinky Howa Alpine sure seems like a nice rig....wish that SOB would come out in LH this year.
But like the other thread.....I'd take a Ruger Predator in 6.5 Creed made backwards too. Do we have any clue what a minimum would be to contact Davidson's for a special run?

Have no idea about a minimum. I can tell you this, though. I have called Kimber multiples of times about putting out a Montana in LH. They just are not interested. And, I've said many times that there would be a large market for them They just don't want to do it. Period. Like the looks of the new Howa's. They've got a nice one in 6.5 Grendel. Have no idea about a LH version, though. Might give them a call and check their oil.

I don't understand this mentality given that most of the other manufacturers are at least maintaining, if not increasing their Left Hand variants. Not as light as a Kimber, but, MRC offers most of their variations in LH. Will continue to buy MRC whenever the configuration fits what I am looking for...

Confirming Kimber. I was told by their corporate staff at SCI "Kimber will never make a left hand rifle".
I walked away and will not go back.

Based on all the LH Rugers that CDNN bought, and sold, at bargain basement prices ($300 SS Americans, $400 77s) I'd be surprised if Ruger delved any deeper in the lefty market. As for minimums, the MI dealer that had them make the .450 Bushmaster Americans ordered, and sold, 1500. According to the owner, Ruger "weren't real thrilled about it, didn't think the market was very large"

I'd like to see stripped lefty 700 actions for sale from the manufacture for LESS than the cost of crappy finished complete ADL rifles from Walmart.

If Davidsons got 50 to say they would buy, Id bet it would happen. The other LH runs have all done well. There will be rimfires, its just a matter of time. When ammo starts being widely available again, demand will rise.

I think I could name 10 users just from this site who have inquired to Kimber RE: Lefties. And not once have I heard anything even close to a maybe. In fact...most of the replies from Kimber have the tone of [bleep] Off

Screw Kimber. If all they can think about is numbers and the bottom line, they can forget about us but we wont forget about them. They have put the Kimber name to shame.

In fact...most of the replies from Kimber have the tone of [bleep] Off I know I begged when they started chambering the 260 Rem and later the 300 WSM. Too many good options these days so I wouldn't likely ever buy one anyways considering their attitude.
