Needing help locating published data for 6 mm Remington, 70 grain bullet with RL-15.
Found one recipe in my Hornady manual but not in any of my other manuals.
Anybody have a manual with this combo and willing to share?

My sierra manual has a starting load of 38.8 grains at 3000 fps. Max load is 40.0 at 3100 fps
My hornady manual lists a start load of 33.7 gr. for 2900 fps and a max of 42.2 gr. for 3300 fps.
For the 75 grain vmax, hornady lists a max of 42.4 gr at 3300 fps
Hope this helps

http://www.alliantpowder.com/reload...;type=1&powderid=12&cartridge=51here's their data for the 243.... you can use that or work up a little from there... That is what I do for my 6mm Rem.

Makes sense, never even thought of that. Sometimes the easiest things are overlooked.

So many good powders to choose from. Not sure I would hold my hold my ground on RL15.
4831 looks good and I really wonder how IMR4166 would perform If no one else were tottery and share results w IMR4166 w the 70 grain projectiles I may never know. I am stuck on the 100 grain weight for my intended use.

Viht N160 gave very high velocity and great accuracy in mine with the 70gr TNT bullet.

Had good accuracy with IMR-4350/70s but had same accuracy with 100+ fps gain in velocity with IMR-4064 thus my reason for wanting to try RL-15.
Reloader-15 gves me extra speed in my 22-250 over 4064 so thought about giving it a shot with light bullets in my 6.

from Steve's Pages (just google it and find his load data info, other grain 6mm bullets are shown for RL15)
RL15 70gr bullet, 35.7----44 grains
and yes, Steve's max load will probably always be higher than any load found in a manual.
