I was lucky enough to pick up Kimber of America Yonkers Classic Varmint fluted stainless in 17HM2 about 2 years ago and as of right now I've found exactly 5 boxes of ammo in 24 months. I'm a blue collar mechanic who just happens to have a soft spot for fine rifles, especially rimfire so I can't afford to buy cases of ammo at a time. But damn I hate having a rifle as fine as this and not being able to enjoy it. If anyone out there knows where I can pick up a brick or two please let me know. I'm not trying to be greedy and buy up all I can. One or 2 bricks would last me the rest of my life. Thank you Email or text is the easiest way to reach me 478 808 3458 Holcombchuck gmail.com

Have not seen any in a LONG time... Just in the last month I've seen .22 Magnum which has been sparse for a couple of years so there is hope...

SWFA.com shows to have some for 8.95/box of 50. It is Hornady.

I don't have one but a week or so ago, I was in Billings, Mt. One of the shops there had quite a supply.. I thin the price was around 10... So it is showing up!

I read on another forum there was a new batch just run off. Apparently from texasbm's post that is Hornady branded.
If I had an HM2 and planned to keep it, I would be considering a big order.

Wareagle: I will keep an eye out for you - it is indeed about as rare as hens teeth to see 17 Mach2 on a stores shelves. I have at least 10 friends looking for 17 Mach2 ammo for me. From time to time some dribbles in but no steady source. And luckily a fellow campfire member here last month contacted me by P/M here and gave me a heads up on a friend of his who was selling 23 boxes (1,150 rounds!) of CCI 17 Mach2 ammo at an amazingly great price. He handled the transaction for me and carefully packed the ammo and shipped it to me. So I will be able to Hunt with much less guilt and more enjoyment next season! Good luck to you and making public your needs is how our fellow member here found me with this big stash of 17 Mach2! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Wareagle: And this, I bought a Kimber SVT (Silhouette, Varmint, Target) in 17 Mach2 about three years ago. It has a Leupold 6.5x20 EFR variable scope on it. It IS a Gopher killing machine! The trigger is just superb and the 17 Mach2 cartridge is perfect for many of my "close to civilization" Gopher applications. The accuracy of my Kimber is just amazing and if a miss occurs I know I did not read the wind/range correctly! I hope you enjoy your Kimber Varmint as much as I enjoy my Kimber SVT! Again good luck with running down some ammo. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

The 17 Mach2 is my favorite squirrel cartridge. I have stored some of the ammo but would buy more if it became available.
The 17 Mach2 is a considerably more effective cartridge than it is popular. Don't know why but there it is. Guess there are not that many squirrel and PD very knowledgeable hunters.

Little catalog from Midsouth in the mail yesterday said they had some CCI ammo available. Currently in stock: https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/dept/ammunition/rimfire

Cool!
When I looked yesterday, the shopping cart didn't pop up for either CCI or Hornady 17HM2 ammo. Today, the shopping cart is there for the Hornady 17HM2 ammo.
While I'd rather pay less than $0.18 per round from 17HM2 ammo, I'm willing to pay that much if it means that I can shoot the rifles. I think that I'll order 1K rounds.

Well, I order 1K rounds on Saturday, 12/03/16, got a confirmation email, and then got an "Oops, we're out of stock" email today. A little disappointing, but I guess that I'll just be shooting some of that extra fast A17 17HMR ammo instead in the Marlins and/or Savages.

That is a nice price for 17HMR ammo, but I think that this thread was focused on helping each other find 17HM2 ammo.
