Anyone care to share their 375RUM handloads, preferably with 270gn bullets.

Thanks

In my RUM I use 90.0 grs of H-4350 and a 300 gr Nosler Partition.

The second load I use is 94.0 grs of H-4831 and a 300 gr Swift A-Frame.

I was hoping for more responses as I just put together a 375 RUM on a Model 70 action.

I haven't started work-up yet, but doing research it looks like 4350 is the preferred powder of 270 weight bullets and 4381 or H1000 might be better with 300 grain bullets.

The factory powder looks a lot like 7828, FWIW.

The 300 gr NP load is 2736 fps from a 26" barrel.

The 300 gr SAF load is 2690 fps from the same barrel.

I tested & chronographed a few loads in my Rem 700BDL .375 RUM a few days ago. I started out with 93gns of H4350 and 270gn Barnes TSX which produced an 8 shot average of 2880fps. Next up was 97gns of RL19 with a 270gn Barnes TSX which produced a 5 shot average of 2743fps. I will probably try RL22 and W760 and see how they perform before making a final decision on which powder to stay with permanently.
