I've got an older model outdoorsman pack that needs gone. I've never used the pack for hunts, just used the frame and load sling to haul quarters. Thes pack is not n great shape and has no holes. It's got a small layer of padding in all three of the exterior pockets and lid. The pack disconnects easily from the frame via metal clips that slide in and out of slots in the frame. The belt has a little pilling and the shoulder straps may have a little as well but no other issues. The only flaw is one of the fastex buckles that holds the lid down is broken on one side but it still clips in and hold well. This would be a great backpack rig as you can fit a ton of gear in it. It may be around 5000cu but can't be positive. I'd like $160 shipped. Can't post pics from IPad but the link below has photos from another FS post I have.

Ive posted this other places so I might as well drop in on this one too. Just a few extra Kuiu buckles and you can put a Ultra 3000 bag on if you wanna light overnighter or day pack with a hauler. Weighs just 4-3/4lbs.

My pack is the older model I'm sure a kuiu pack can be rigged to the older frame if you tried.

Morning bump. I'll drop it one more time to 130 shipped. Nothing wrong with this pack, just don't need it.

snpr--I am interested in your pack and frame, but I would appreciate some information about the pack/frame to help make up my mind whether to buy...

one question about your description--

I've got an older model outdoorsman pack that needs gone. I've never used the pack for hunts, just used the frame and load sling to haul quarters. Thes pack is not n great shape and has no holes.

I'm reading this as "not in great shape"---is that a correct read? I am a bit confused as it seems inconsistent with what you said about pack not being ever used.

And some questions about the pack dimensions and condition-
1. what is the length of the belt (and the range of adjustment)?
2. what is the length of the padded section? I'm needing to know how far it will reach around my waist.
3. Are all belts, buckles, straps, closures, and other hardware intact and functional?
4. Can adjustments be made for torso length?
5. and if so, what is the range of adjustment for torso length?
6. with a load, will the pack belt tension at your waist stay put, or does the belt slip/loosen?

Thanks-
Joe

Sorry, that was a typo. It is in great shape.

1. The waist belt adjust down well below my 36" waist and will extend to at least 50".
2. Padded portion is just shy of 30".
3. As listed in the description, all buckles are good but one. One of the fastex female attachments for the main compartment. It still locks and holds. Can be easily replaced.
4. I suppose torso length can be slightly modified but not much. The middle back pad can be adjusted up or down about an inch or so. I'm 5'9 and the pack rides good.
5. I've packed out 6 elk with this pack and have never had it slip on me. The straps lock down pretty good on this pack. I never had any issues. The pack itself is in great shap cosmetically.
