Send him an email and ask.he's always been very responsive, but he's probably hunting this time of year.

Last one received in late October was a wee less than a year.

Always best to check with the source. Mr May crafts a knife and sheath that is worth the wait.

I sent Charles an e-mail this evening and will report his answer. A year +/- isn't bad.

Thanks, RS

Charles makes so many useful patterns it's hard to pick one. Right now, I've got it narrowed down to the following in no special order:

Trace
Buckeye
BobWhite
BoutAll
May Flowers

I don't think that I could go wrong with any of them.

You can say that again. grin

The Trace is still my favorite. But I've grown fond of both the Slitter and Holt Collier as well.

Don't rack your brain too hard in choosing. You'll be getting in line for another as soon as the first one comes. smile

I put an order in a couple of weeks ago but didn't ask about time frame. Mr. May does have some great patterns....and he may very well be in the woods this time of year.

I sent him an email a month or so ago and have not heard a thing. Forgot about it until now.

His knives are worth the wait. Got a slitter a few months back. ~12 months.
But did pick up a buk95 that he had laying on the bench with very little wait.

Charlie got back to my e-mail today. Currently he is running "10-11 months" on his wait time.
