I currently have an Outdoor Connection Super-Sling which is nice but I've always wanted to find a nice quality leather sling for my 1895. Let's see some pics of what you guys are using and how you like 'em.

I bought a couple of nice leather slings from an eBay seller who uses the name "tacktheknot". They were $18 per unit and look nice on my Marlin 336 SCs.

I have used a pile, but I like this cheap Allen sling as well as any that I have used...just works well on all of the levers.

BTW - Jim, that's a great looking combo..... Thanks...that is an old and well used combo... The rifle is a 30/30 and the revolver is a Cimarron 44 Special. The rifle is my woods rifle and the revolver goes with me regardless of the rifle that I am hunting with...even take it when I am hunting with the Contender...2 handguns are better than one.

I use cheap Uncle Mike's nylon slings on my lever and nearly all of my rifles. They are narrow and tend to stay on my shoulder well while wearing a hunting jacket.

No sling on the '94....It's got a Williams peep on it and I use it for still-hunting in the thick stuff. The Glenfield Model 30 wears a 4x scope. I use that one more for drives or for general sneakin' and peekin' in the more open woods. If I hit a wide open patch like old growth or a field, I'll just throw it on my shoulder, light a smoke and hike to the next promising patch of woods. It wears an Allen sling with Neoprene on the shoulder part. It keeps the rifle on my shoulder until it's time to put it back in my paws.
I have never seen a sling that enhanced the look or function of a rifle when it's GO time. But they do come in handy occasionally. Especially when dragging the carcass.

I gave Chance a call at LeverGunLeather.com (super nice guy BTW) and ended up ordering the one in the pic above without any lettering. After seeing that combo side-by-side, I just had to do it.....

I have one lever fun with a leather 1" sling on it. A tang safety 95, 30/06 ctg. I obtained it used and someone had put uncle Mike QD studs on it. It's a higher quality sling with buckles on each end like you might find on an old African plains rifle i guess???
As a side note, for some reason this rifle is the best pointing, carrying, offhand hunting rifle I currently own. It simply fits. Even better than my old Browning '95. And they are from same factory.

You showed it to us at Armjio Springs this year, I believe, and I assume this is the '95 that you said you liked even better than all those original Winchesters you showed us! I am trying one of those sliding loop shotgun slings on my 1873 clone that I showed you there. Maybe Hunter brand? I forget, but nice quality. Though it tends to slip over the lever from time to time, it does not require installation of studs. If it doesn't work out, I'll just slip it off in use, or use it for shotguns.

I don't sling levers, save the old '71 Deluxe in 348 Winchester I got from BSA, it came with a very nice leather sling and factory swivels.
