Quick question for T3 owners....
Looking at the manual on a PDF file it looks like the bottom metal can be removed for access to the trigger without removing the barreled action from the stock....
Is that correct?

Once you get that far, it is pretty well out of the stock anyhow. It will need to be retorqued and probably at least checked at the range.
If you back the adjustment screw out till it hits the trigger mounting screw, you should be in good shape. There are ways to go further but usually not necessary

Backing the screw out until it hits the trigger mounting screw will get you near a 2# pull weight. If you want to go lower you can replace the trigger spring, you can either scrounge around and find one with a lighter compression or buy one from - http://www.erniethegunsmith.com/drover

I always just back it out all the way I did call tikka customer service and ask what the torque was when I did mine but I don't remember the torque specs
