5.5 miles in the hills, beautiful day- near 60; learned my lesson yesterday and brought my microspikes- lots of ice still on the North and East facing slopes

Chest day
5 sets of 50 reps ballslams
5 sets of incline press 90lbs X 10 Reps

BP(185X2X20, 225X3X10, 275X6, 315X3)

Narrow grip BP (185, 225, 225, 185, 135)
Preacher Bench Curls 110 X 5 sets X 10 Reps
Hammer Preacher 90lbs X 5 sets X 10 reps
Tricep pulldowns 5 sets X 20 reps

8 sets of 500 m intervals C2 Rowing
20 Min of bicycle 120HRT

4 miles of hill repeats- I find them tough up AND down!

42 mile ride with my 27-mile hill route at its core. Quads are toast.

Treadmill intervals: 25min

3x5: BP-Standing Press-Bent over rows.

Treadmill: 10min intervals

Box step-ups-25in-4x10

Roll-outs: 4x25-set of 10 light deadlifts-couple sets of barbell curls.

Treadmill: 15min easy cooldown.

Did LB yesterday, UB today. Now for some 12-oz curls.

I find that 16-oz curls add more body mass. But I guess a guy could go for higher reps with the 12's.

Rookies, the real deal gym rats go straight to the Iron City 32's.

Real men don't drink horse piss.

You should know coming from Coor's country. Even the horses won't drink it.

* dips- I tried them weighted (25#) and cut the reps in half (15 vs 30)

Dips are almost as hard as drinking Coors. Almost....

MtWarden unlike a couple of you is an inspiration to hit the trial and find that next meadow. That next mountain pass. The next crystal clear mountain stream. That most perfect of vistas.
