Well, I finally got around to taking a picture of my two big presents. It was a very, very, 250 Christmas. I picked up the 1919 250-3000 Rifle from Randy a couple weeks ago, and the 1950 250 arrived a couple days later. One real sweet, the other a little beat, but both cool, Joe.

How do you go about mounting that on a 1919. I have one, but there are only single screws.

Are you referring to mounting the Fecker on the 1919 NRA? Mine is an early one with single screws holes for the rear peep sight and the standard rear sight. Gnoahhh hooked me up with Steve Earls web site. He makes blocks for the 1919. I've had several people tell me they mounted target scopes on the 1919's using just one screw per block, or you would have to have 2 more holes drilled, or get another newer rifle. Since mine is first year of production and in pretty nice shape, I might just buy one of the newer rifles with the speed lock. They have two screw holes for mounting the scope blocks, Joe.

What little bit of value you might lose to drilling a second hole for scope mounting would be more than offset by the increased value of the gun with the Fecker scope mounted on it. I wouldn't trust it with just one screw per scope block, unless you handled it very gingerly.

Of course, one of the beauties of a Fecker/Unertl/Litschert/Targetspot scope is being able to swap it around onto different guns. Make a note of the micrometer setting on the rear mount before taking it off the gun- when returning it to the gun said setting will put you very close to where it was shooting before you used it on another gun.

If you want to actually place an order, it's best to telephone him.

Hey Gary. I agree, that's why I said drill it or get another one. Steve at the GunShack has a bolt gun in there with a Super Targetspot on it. I looked at the scope and didn't even notice what it was on. I'm so broke right now I'm not even window shopping. Think I'm gonna ask the kids to get me the scope blocks for my B-Day. Yep, his web site says call and leave a detailed message, Joe.

Mines non matching, but a few good people a long long time ago (wink savage guys wink) found me a rear sight. It's only been shot a few times as she has really light primer strikes. Something like that on her would allow me to enjoy it. I have super crappy vision, and having that peep on there is impossible for me. I haven't pulled it out in forever, but in the middle pic, it appears I was correct in that it has a single screw.

I hope someone doesn't come busting through that door in a hurry.
I got the tomato stake 243 for Christmas that appears in the 8 caliber EG post. I've still got another Christmas present coming. Pics when it arrives. David

I think yours is the second version, the ejection port is opened up and your peep sight has two screws. One larger and one smaller. Mine the peep only has one screw. My serial # is in the 7000 range.

The first 5 shot group I fired with it, with my old eyes, at 25 yards, made one hole. I can't wait to get the scope mounted up and see what I can do with a target I can see, Joe.
