Anyone ever use a Sightmark Photon or ATN X-Sight on an AR-15? I appreciate your feedback.

Never seen the X-sight, but I have and use the Photon XT. The digital NV rigs are what I call the gateway scopes. They will give you just enough success to get you hooked and make you start spending big money on higher end NV and thermal equipment. If you are looking to hunt both night and day, these will serve both purposes, but be minimally effective in both realms. IMO you are better off with 1 good day and 1 good night scope that are either on dedicated guns or have really good QD mounts for 1 gun.
YMMV
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

I appreciate the info. I know you get what you pay for in optics, but I'm just trying to have a little fun without getting divorced.
