supposedly the .44 mag #1's are in production, but they won't make many of them, supposedly less than 100

This would be a nice caliber if they re-introduce the No3. At No3 prices and weight. I would hope for a rubber pad instead of steel.

maybe three  Someone posted it has a 1 in 38" twist barrel, which is certainly one way to discourage people from using hot heavy bullet loads.  The Ruger has a 1 in 20"
