I have some pictures of some very old guns that I think others would enjoy. There are a couple of every make(1873 Win,Marlin 1892...) and model. I have some questions and I'm sure some of you will have some too. However I don't know how to post them. So if someone would like to post them for me just PM me and I will give you my text number. Most of these have not been seen in 30 or 40 years. I think its time for others to see and enjoy them. There are about 40 of them. Thanks!

It's quite easy to open up a photobucket account. We can get you there, from there.

Just bought a really nice Savage 1899 TD in 303. Ser #124xxx. All matching numbers with a perch belly stock. I was told its an A made in 1910? Wish I could post a picture. Does this sound right? Thanks!

If it's a 26 inch barrel. The 1899 A was available in a t/d starting in 1909, per Murray's, Joe.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

Open a photobucket account. Transfer your pictures from your computer to there. Select a particular picture. When you do that, you'll see several options under "Share this photo". click on the box beside "IMG". This will copy the info. Make a post here, right click in it, and paste the code.

1899 with 22" barrel would be an 1899A SR (short rifle). Serial number is probably 1912. Nice find with the takedown.

Bottom is an 1891 side loader - only made in 22 Caliber, and only made for a short time in the first year of production - serial # 54000 to 54999 all date to 1891. The round barrels are rarer but don't seem to bring any premium. I have been looking for a presentable example of one of those for years, with most I have seen the price and condition do not seem to match.

That Mauser was made with incredible quality! I was told it has a mini Mauser action. Rear site elevates to 150 meters. That 410 O/U has 2 hammers. I don't like that plastic stock though.

Yeah I'd take that Mauser in a heartbeat. That's cool.

"Here is description: this one is a 99 G TD in 303, has a 22 inch barrel. Ser# 307xxx made in 1928. Next is a 1893 Marlin in 30-30. Has I believe to be a 26 inch Oct barrel. Ser# D 3993 . Has a star stamped on lower tang under the lever . I can't find out year of manufacture or what this star means."

"The front sight on this Marlin is a circle and cross-hair."

The marlin would be in the early 20's , the star is an inspectors mark that means the rifle was as near as perfect that could be assembled. nice assortment of firearms.
