Hank Are you in Vegas. I was wanting to go, but having hurt my knee I'm glad I didn't make arrangements. In the next couple of years I'd like to hit SHOT one year and SCI another year. I really enjoy SHOT. Been there a few times.

I went in 87 & 88 was alot of fun a buddie of mine owned a Archery Shop! Talked to Mr Fred Bear for 45 mins, once he knew I was from Michigan I couldnt leave! till he had a meeting and had to go! Lots of walking, some good partys afterward too!
Deer Camp! about as good as it gets!

It's a much better show for the buying public with deals to be had and marvels to entertain the eye. Shot is more industry and muckemuck sales. But it is the second best show on earth so sneak in the back door. 😉

ShotShow isn't like a gunshow. There's nothing for retail sale. It is the shooting industry's trade show where new products are introduced and media and dealers as well as manufacturers meet and make business and professional contacts.

I'm sure everyone knows but SHOT is industry specific and not open to the public. I know there are some deals to be had and this is where lots of manufacturers choose to introduce their new items for the year.
