What is your favorite .22-250 powder, for heavy bullets (60-75 grs)?

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

Mine likes IMR4064 with a 65gr SGK.

I had a 22-250 once. It liked IMR 4064. It also like IMR 4350 . H414 was also a good powder. I used 60 gr bullets quite often.

in my 1 in 7 twist Ruger, with 75 BTHP, A Max and 80 grain A Max, I was surprised to get the fastest velocity out of the RL 15, IMR 4895 and 4064 burn range... thought it would be with slower powders, but it wasn't....

Accuracy was excellent... the above powders give me in the 3350 fps range with a 24 inch barrel...

addendum: don't overlook the 68 grain BTHP from Hornady!
