Guess I got lucky on the Kimber roulette! Just received my 6.5 Creedmoor from Whittaker Guns Friday. Picked up some bullets and powder today and on my third load, came up with this!

Thanks! It was a pleasant surprise. It's never that easy...

Congrats! Please let us know when you have time to shoot if it will do that or close to it often without an odd flier here and there.

This makes my 4th and the other 3 have been a challenge at times!
The 308 will not shoot the 155 Scenars! Tried every combo I could find but no love. Finally loaded up some 180 BT and all is good!
Still working with the 243 but it is showing some promise.

Funny you say that , I've had good luck getting 30-06's I've owned to shoot the 155 Scenars. My new Montana will not shoot them for chit, awful groups. So far they are the only Bullet it hasn't shot well.

The new ones have an accuracy guarantee, and probably will be fine. When they first came out they definitely had a bunch of stinkers. My 7mm-08 Montana would shoot one hole groups, but not when cold, and only if you carefully spaced the shots to keep the barrel the same temp. Which is real impractical for hunting smile It now wears a PacNor barrel, and is terrific.

I also have a .257 Roberts Classic Select, and so far it seems decent, though I've not shot it much.

It seems to like the 123 Scenars too. Just trying a couple loads today. Also added a brake from Brownell's..looks cool..
