once you accept the premise that all liberals are mentally ill, a lot of their behavior becomes clear.

It seems obvious to me by the shrewish old woman's age, her complete lack of any makeup, her wimped out husband who looks just like her, and of course, her obnoxious, holier-than-thou, superior attitude, that she and he are old 1960s hippies who marched countless times in the '60s and 70s, protesting the Vietnam War, and probably stayed loaded to the gills.

They are still living in the past, hanging on to the ragged coattails of Abbie Hoffman, Tom Hayden, Timothy Leary, Bill Ayers, Jane Fonda, etc., trying to prove they have some true meaning in life, which they don't. Of course, they have deceived themselves and they live in their delusions.

They were inspired by their Marxist Socialist masters and they are hard wired to that ideology. They never change, and they never, ever disengage.

One of the things I'm taking away from a few or really many of the videos of reactions of the folks from the left side of the political spectrum is that it's showing many in the center who the reasonable ones really are.

In discussions with family for instance - not all who are as right leaning as myself - they are now seeing that we aren't the ones who behave badly when things don't go our way.

Case in point, when we elected a part time snow board instructor as Prime Minister a year and a bit ago - yes he's very left wing even by Canuck standards - but there were no protests, no weeping and gnashing of teeth, no drama whatsoever.

For the most part we bit our lips and went to work the next day knowing we'd have to do better in four years.

Anyway if there's a bright spot it's that the mask of civility and reasonableness is now off the extreme left - frankly it suits them, you know?

Throughout the ages, some in any given society have been bent on avoiding, or even escaping, certain realities - seems like an unavoidable aspect of human nature. Some seem to work it quietly, others grumble, and some lash out.

In our culture, at this time, there are a lot of folks who simply cannot get themselves into a position to see that a false reality of the past 8 years - one they created and needed - has evaporated, and a new picture has focused. What amazes me a bit is the number that are so overly distraught and prone to do ridiculous/nasty stuff in efforts to avoid the reality and assuage their social grief. It seems like self flagellation in big groups.

They won't be able to sustain it, but the current picture is ugly, and sad.

Did you notice the southern accent? Me neither.
