Hello Everyone,
I have not been a watcher on the fire for a while since I have strayed from hunting and discovered interests indoors in the cold of winter. My father in law past away in July of 2015 and I have been helping my mother in law sell off a few guns. The first one of these two was his, the second one is mine.
The first gun is not a high dollar specimen but could be the right rifle in the right situation. It is a Savage 110 Sporter chambered in 22-250. There are a few dings and nicks as would be expected for a rifle of this age and there is some muzzle wear that looks to be from a gun case, one shiny spot on the top of the barrel and some light rusting about 1/3 of the way towards the muzzle end. It is also missing the front swivel stud. It is wearing a Leupold VX-II 3x9x40 with a fine duplex mounted in Burris signature rings. Scope looks to be near mint and has a scope coat inluded. Would make a nice coyote truck gun. I did not hunt with him so I have no idea how it shoots. Asking $400 with scope and rings plus shipping, OBRO. Need more pictures let me know.




The second is a nice specimen. Rifle was a personal rifle of world class bench rest gun builder Clarence Hammonds. It's a shilen match 1/12 twist barrel on a Sako L579 Action, I believe it's a McMillian sporter stock. Barrel is 23" long to where it meets the action and is .625 at the muzzle. It's chambered in .243 40 Degree Ackley Improved. I purchase this rifle from a forum member a couple years ago. I scoped it up and starting working up a load and had too many irons in the fire and never got back to it. I have a Neil Jones micrometer bullet seater and a neck die I would include in the sale price. I would do $800 for the rifle and dies plus shipping. Pretty firm on the price on this one. I also have fire formed brass and some loaded rounds i would include. Scope, rings and bipod not included. If you need more pictures let me know. I can also go through an FFL if needed for a small additional fee if your FFL will not accept from an individual.Thanks for looking, REV
