I have given up trying to find a take off stock and ordered a new one from Ruger. So, the stock I have currently is now for sale. Details: Ruger Hawkeye Walnut stock Right Hand Long Action Magnum Barrel contour (300 win mag, 338 win mag etc, I believe Ruger refers to this as a "B" contour) Standard "A" contour barrels - 270, 280, 30-06 etc) drop in nicely but there is a decent "gap" between the barrel and stock. On the up side, the barrel is completely floated.  It was a new takeoff when I purchased it a few weeks ago. I mounted my 280 barrelled action, brought to the range, fired 12 shots, brought it home and put it away. The stock is "as new". I will be posting pictures as soon as I can take some. These stocks are $245 new shipped from Ruger. This happens to be a particularly nice one too. It's lighter in color with some decent figure. I would like to get out of it what I have into it..$180, but I'm open to reasonable offers. The only trade I would consider now would be for a Leupold FXII 4x33 or 6x36 or M8 6x36 scope with cash in whichever direction we agree on. Please feel free to PM with any questions or offers.
