My wife is disabled, too. So I do almost all of the shopping, even at times getting things actually on her list. The hard part is finding flavors she likes, and avoiding the others. For instance, she likes peach yogurt, they don't have any, so do I get mango, strawberry, blueberry, or ? BTW the cell phone will not work inside our regular market, so if I really have to ask I have abaondon thecart and go clear outside.

We have 2 locations of the same grocery store, in our town.
Seems we invariably have to go to wallyworld for something the stores don't carry.
CROWDS of fat Hispanic women in pajama bottoms!
Why can't I ever seem to go when the joint is full of nice looking co-eds? Dunno,....for me, riding the purple elephant always seems to attract more chicks. GTC

Did you get to go on any of those fifty cent rides they have up front ?
IIRC someone told me you liked the big yellow duck.GTC They took 'em all out, dammit! Seems the hispanic chicks liked 'em, too - and overloaded them! (Tears for the duck!)

The redhead can go to the grocery store, get everything on her list, and be out if in 10 minutes. Tops. On a busy day.
There still won't be any vegetables to cook with, or potatoes, or pasta, so I still go and stock up on all the staples, seafood, and get the veggies. But we'll never run out of bread or sandwich meat......
If I didn't cook, we'd both starve in pretty short order.

I usually do the shopping. Wife can take a half-hour trip and drag it out to 2 1/2 hours if I don't put a stop to that crap. In and out, just get what we need, and LEAVE.

I do the cooking, and I do the shopping. Makes perfect sense for me. What does your wife...,uh, never mind.  my wife works, runs a small Pharma company. I am retired. She has little free time, I look for things to do. She hates cooking, I enjoy it. Any other stupid questions? lol

Mine hates to shop,she is a buyer like me. We know what we want. You can shop now on internet on your ass in easy chair. No crowds!!!

Small town with a 10K student population[60/40 female over male]. My favorite job ever was being a bag boy over in Blacksburg[Va Tech] as a yute.

at least at the grocery store there things of interest, thank the Lord it wasn't Nordstroms or some such. That's for damn sure. I hate Nordstroms, I swear their terms of employments for male employees is that they are gay.

What are they wearing on top? You can't seem to go when the joint is fill of nice looking co-eds because there AREN'T any of those at NMHU - or even in all of Las Vegas.
