Good seller bump, no worries with Cisco. Bought a M-12 from him and it was nicer than described .

Man, those early Winchesters sure had gorgeous wood on them. I've got several early Win 22's and they all have great wood.

Howdy Passport,

Thanks for the kind words…….I didn't know who you where speaking of.
Hope all is well.
Best,
Chuck

As for the wood on the 69 one side is nicer than the other…..which is often the case.

These old long barreled rifles are great shooters, and they always "came up nice".

Redrock,
These were made from about '34-'35 to '50's From memory.
Not serial numbered and several production changes . Including cocking, bolt configuration, sights , etc.
I have several of these old rifles and this is the oldest. I have forgotten most of what I thought I knew about the 69. I would guess this is from the 40's .

My interest in research has dwindled and I am off on other rifles.

I have been struck in the wallet by a rifle outta the Harvey Donaldson Collection. in the highly un-sought caliber.....- .219 Zipper in an old Remington Hepbern. To it's credit ...it sports an even more "Modern" optic in the flavor of Unertl.

Made from 1935 to 1937. In Nov 1937, the M69 was superseded by the M69A. the short production run makes the M69 much less common than the M69A.
