Looking for options for an CLR action (ULA28) with a magnum bolt face.
Ideally, it would take advantage of the action and magazine length.

The Noslers seem like a lot of recoil and blast for a light rifle.

So you have a magnum action that you want to use, but don't want something that recoils or has muzzle blast?
Can you bush the bolt down to a standard .473 bolt face?

The big Noslers. Otherwise, run a belted case. Otherwise, sell it to someone else.

375 Ruger and wildcats based off of it should work.

Better off w/ 28 Nosler then... Better than 7 LRM? Why, brass?

6.5 SAUM? If you can get it to feed I'll bet you could make 30-40 Krag or .303 British work..

What's your beef with a belted case?

I'm trying to go the other direction. I almost specified beltless and rimless in the OP, but thought nah...

Man up! Go 33 Nosler. If that's too much excitement, go 33 Campfire ! The ULA/CLR/NULA has a very well designed stock for recoil attenuation. No point over-compensating with a Short action cart that won't fit/feed in that beauty. Cheers

What's the reason for no belt?
7 Rem Mag seems like a no brainer on that bolt face.
