My dear friend Bob died early this morning. He was surrounded by his family. He had been ill for some time.
I am broken hearted.

Godspeed Bob. Didn't know him well but we exchanged a number of PM's and always enjoyed what he shared in those PM's.

Bob was one of the most reasonable people on this forum and his comments were always well reasoned. He will be missed.

Godspeed, Bob.

Really sad news. I only "knew" Bob from this forum and regret never having shared a camp with him. He welcomed me here and we corresponded with PM's many times. His wisdom will be missed.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

He had great intelligence, experience and wisdom and we are lesser without him. I wished I had met him. I always thought about going to Amoskeag Auction and visiting him.
